pentacle: reclaiming the witch within

Our next journey begins 2024.

  • Throughout all time, there have been women—at the center of and on the fringes of culture—who have cultivated their personal power as a craft.

These are women know the ways of the elements so intimately that they begin to work with them through both medicine and magik. These women call forth their power to activate more fully in themselves their own personal needs, as well as the needs of their community. These women—witches—know how to make something appear where once, nothing existed.

We are currently in a time of remembering (remember: to put back together) and an awakening of the witch, not in the distortions we have been handed, but as something more and different altogether. Many feel a deep connection to the archetype of the witch and know in their bones there must be more to the craft than Pinterest boards and consumer subscription boxes, but don’t know how to cultivate magik in their homes and lives. There is an art and craft of how to write and cast spells, discovering and developing your own art of divination, how to create relationship with specific plants for both medicine and magic, practices to raise and direct energy, the witch’s tools for magik, uncovering your specific medicine and what type of witch you are, and more. How do we go about becoming what we don’t fully understand? How do we Re.Member the witch within?

  • The foundation of this course is based on the Wheel of the Year knowledge (i.e. The Sovereign Path or Earth Wisdom Spiral Immersions), and a clear understanding of basic earth wisdom — such as the elemental correspondences, moon wisdom—and moves it beyond the studies that are our birthright into the studies that are chosen as a craft.

Students who have not previously taken the spiral earth wisdom course will need an informational interview with myself. Please reach out to me via email to inquire about this option.

  • • Nine recorded Curriculum Calls

    • Nine recorded Practicum Calls

    • Nine live-streamed Embodiment Circles

Q+A

  • No. I am not affiliated with any denomination/style of the craft. Wicca is actually very specific in its beliefs, practices, etc, and the word Wicca and Witch are not interchangeable . My craft comes from Northern European and Celtic wisdoms, Avalonian magic and a bit of the old conjure craft of Appalachia.

  • Yes.

  • There are many different ways that witches move through the world as with any other way of being. You definitely do not need to start dressing in black with a pentacle around your neck! Your magic is yours and will offer itself in you and through you. There is nothing to “become.” Rather, there is skill to practice and magic to create. Participation in this program remains in confidence for you to share or not share.

  • The two calls (Curriculum and Practicum) are pre-recorded, so you can do those at your own leisure. The live-streamed Coven Circle calls take place one Sunday a month and will also be recorded for those who cannot attend. Pentacle becomes part of your daily, lunar, and solar rhythms and you step as fully in as you desire and have space for. The curriculum and practicum are evergreen, so you can always go back and revisit all of it at any time.

“Isn’t it odd that once upon a time in Europe a woman could be killed for making potions from the plants around her.”

“Isn’t it insane that once upon a time wise women were burnt or drowned for helping birth babies, knowing their herbs, gathering in groups of more than two, being outside alone, being strong, being beautiful, being ugly, being different, being sexual, being non sexual or touching a nettle, smelling a rose or drinking wild teas.

Isn’t it madness that a woman who knew her body, her mind and her heart was cast aside as evil, as a sinner and her life taken away.

Women! Do not let the ancestral memory of this that is held in your make up, in your bones and blood hold you back. Rise dear sweet sisters, rise so that our daughters and daughters daughters don’t have to wonder when we lost our tongues and denied our hearts.

Grow a new tongue, invite the wolf in, awaken the witch and dance under the moon.

Embrace your heart, your womb, your gut and your wisdom.

Roar dear sister, break the silence and take back your power so the young ones won’t have to.”
