LABYRINTH Priestess Apprenticeship

On the New Moon in Taurus in April 2025, a new cohort of women will embark onto the Labyrinth Priestess Path. This will be a small, intimate group of women who hear her soul’s calling of noble service. The first level of the LABYRINTH Priestess Apprenticeship will run from April 2025 (Embarkation) through June 2026.

What is a Priestess and have you heard the call?

Throughout time and across cultures, women have heard the call into service. In days of old, these women were cloistered and trained for three to nine years into service to the world as a vessel of the Goddess.

They were revered and cared for as important members of the community. They were healers, oracles, storytellers, ceremonialists. They were women who were sovereign unto themselves and who walked between the realms as channels of sovereignty, love, wisdom and ancient nobility.  A priestess knows the cycles of the Earth, is trained in the arts of elemental magic, but above all, is following her soul covenant to incarnate and to remember herself as a Divine Human. Her lifetime is a path of service, ritual and living in the joy of embodiment even as she hears and deeply feels the sorrows of the world. 

Blessedly, many many women are awakening to their Soul Covenant and desire to study and live their path once again.

Not all hear the call to the life of service of a priestess, and less than that will embark on a true path of initiation.  Today, it is easy to Google the word “priestess” and discover all sorts of women’s empowerment and leadership programs, as well as lineage and non-lineage priestess programs.  Some of these programs are paths of initiation and sacred vows and some are not.  There is not a right or a wrong—there is what is true for each individual woman to follow her particular path if she has heard a call.

My own path as a priestess has been a path of initiation into the Grail Mysteries and of Avalon. Specifically, for me, that has evolved into my leading a trinity priestess lineage which weaves the three cords of the mysteries of the Emerald Dragon, the Sapphire Avalon, the Ruby Way of the Divine Human.

By the sacred Chalice Well in Avalon, I made my irrevocable vows as an initiated High Priestess following four years of devotion and study. Part of my service and work is to guide apprentice priestesses on a path of initiation into these Mysteries. Those who choose an initiatory path will soon learn that it will ask everything of you and demand nothing from you.  In the words of Maya Angelou “The price is high. The reward is great.”

Much like my own intimate apprenticeship as a priestess, Initiate Priestesses who step onto the Labyrinth Priestess Path will be in a rich face-to-face relationship with me and with any other women who study with me.

 
 

The LABYRINTH Priestess Apprenticeship is, in full, a nearly four-year journey consisting of three spirals of study:

YEAR ONE

The Cord and Cup: Initiation as a Priestess of Avalon

YEAR TWO

The Queen and Cauldron: Self Initiation as a Priestess Queen of Avalon

YEAR THREE

Chatelaine and Chalice: Initiation as Chalice Priestess and Chatelaine of Avalon

* Only initiated priestesses may proceed to the next spiral of study. In order to be initiated, Apprentices must meet all the requirements of initiation. Apprentices must demonstrate that they are in their own free will and choice before taking vows as a priestess.

 

Formal studies take place along the rhythm of the trimester system of three active curriculum months followed by one latent integration month equaling 15 months of study in order to initiate at the first level in Glastonbury, England.

    • Curriculum Teaching Circle with Abby Tamar

    • One-hour private Priestess Mentoring Session with Abby Tamar (via Zoom)

    • Small-group Sisterhood Circle (self-led with monthly directives)

    • Dark Moon Lineage Devotionals

    • Rest and Rejuvenate Week

    • One-hour private mentorship session with Abby Tamar (via Zoom)

    • Lineage Gathering One-Day Retreat: October 2025 (Separate tuition)

    • Lineage Gathering Weekend Retreat: March 2026 (Seperate tuition)

    • Initiation Pilgrimage to Glastonbury, England, Aug/Sept 2026,  (Separate tuition) Required for initiation as a Priestess of Avalon and continuance to next level of apprenticeship studies.

Investment

The tuition for the path is $4500 for the 15-month Initiate’s Journey. Tuition is payable monthly ($300) or, of course, in full.

There is an extensive application, as well as an interview, which is an important part of the process of intent and clarification for stepping onto this path of devotion and service. Upon acceptance into the program, your first month’s tuition is due as your deposit.
