“What do I teach? I teach a yoga that is about fully embodying into practice and into life. This embodying uses the tools of refined alignment, empowered flow, pranayama, and meditation. I teach YOGA. I teach a yoga that empowers students into their experience, rather than relying on external factors to make the experience for them.  I offer yoga as Empowered Embodiment.”   –  Abby Tucker

Abby describes herself and her students as Yoga Bohemians.  What is a Yoga Bohemian?  Yoga Bohemians (YoBos) are a unique blend of disciplined yogins and wildly creative artists of every kind – traditional artists, cooks, mothers, fathers, businesspeople, and teachers .  To be a YoBo, one must deeply respect and understand lines so that they can paint outside those lines as artistic expression.  Yoga Bohemians “experiment in living” and are practitioners of life more than philosophers and theorists about life.  YoBos yoke the bohemian tenets of celebratory living, love, creative freedom, individualism, and a sensual embodied life with yogic discipline, spiritual practices, and reflective self-study.

Abby is dedicated to teaching a full schedule of local yoga classes and building community.
